I left Vanuatu after 2,5 months living on a sailboat there and jumped on a new boat, called Irie II. The owner is from Texas and it was so nice of him to give me a ride to Noumea.
He normally sails around the world single-handed since many years and I was the first crew he ever had for a passage. I bought lots of fruit and veggies to last us for the 2-3 day crossing but the wind was so weak and it took us longer than that.
After one month of sailing around in Vanuatu I went back to Port Vila, the capital of Vanuatu, by ferry. It was a 17 hours ferry ride from the north of Malekula Island. The ferry was very nice, a big area where you can sleep on the ground on a yoga mat or something and also on one of many comfortable benches. Continue reading
After three days of sailing from Fiji I arrived on the catamaran WAYFINDER in Port Vila, Vanuatus capital. It was my first crossing that I did by sailboat and I couldn’t have imagined it better.
I went to the market in Nadi town after I came back from a small island where I did a beach clean up and was living in a tent and run out of food.
I was happy that I could buy lots of fruits again, I really missed the market.
In the evening I had a call with a boat owner who was looking for a person to teach his girlfriend basic-english.
They told me that they only eat organic and mostly vegetarian food. They are from Brasil and the owners girlfriend doesn’t speak any english.
Also, I get my food and bed on board and can join them for surf and snorkel trips around the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji. He said that I can come anytime so I packed my stuff and made my way there the next day. Continue reading
My flight from Cambodia to Bali was amazing because we landed in Bali around sunset-time and it looked incredible to fly next to the volcanos and land right next to the ocean.
The visa is free here in Bali for one month and when I collected my backpack again after I got my VISA stamp my shoes which I put outside on my backpack were gone.
I walked out of the airport and right before I exit the airport a guy came and told me that he wants to check my bag.
I thought okay Continue reading
I chose the bus company Nattakan from Bangkok to Siem Reap in Cambodia. It was around 20 dollars for a 8-9 hour bus ride and we got water, snacks and a vegetarian lunch. Continue reading
On the 6th of February it was again time to say goodbye to my family and friends. I spent 1,5 months in Austria and it was so good to see everyone again. I spent as much time as I could with my family.
This time, I booked a flight from Munich to Bangkok with Ukraine airlines. I never used that airline before and now I know why. Continue reading
i flew back to the yasawas after one week break, where i went to the coral coast on the main island in fiji.
i arrived at the airport with another guy who also worked as a gametester and a pick-up picked us up from the airstrip in the yasawas.

i was soo happy about them because normally we never saw bananas on the way to our place there.
we arrived back in the village around lunchtime and everyone was there. i felt so happy to be back because it feels like
